2022 Rates for the NW Reiki Gathering

This year, we have capacity to host at most 50 people per event, are honored to be guests on different land than we're accustomed to, and are graced with an auspicious presenter in Johannes. We anticipate that we may have waiting lists this year, for the first time in a long while. In order to balance these various changes, there are several ways in which registration options this year are different from past Gatherings.

What are the "Lodging" and "Commuting" options?
The "lodging" rate includes program, meals, and lodging for the duration of the event. All lodging is in various shared rooms, all located in the same building where we will meet for our program during the Gathering. Every room has access to shared bathrooms, adjacent to the room or just down the hall. Other than at meal times, we will be the sole users of this building during the NW Reiki Gathering.
The "commuting" rate includes program and meals for the duration of the event. This option is available on a limited basis for participants who want to or need to sleep off-site (somewhere other than in one of our shared rooms at Menucha). We ask that, other than sleeping off-site, commuters plan to be with us at Menucha for the duration of their event, including all meals.
Menucha does not have capacity for participants who might wish to only attend program times but otherwise neither lodge nor take meals there, so there is no such registration option.

May I attend both events?
In order to provide opportunities for more folks to attend this year (given our limited capacity of 50 participants total per event), we are opening registration without an option to register for both events. If you are a Master, we ask that you register for Master Time if possible - and naturally, please encourage your students to attend the Weekend Gathering. (Of course, please register yourself for the Weekend Gathering if that is the only event you can attend, or if you simply feel called to do so).
While we won't be surprised if we quickly have a waiting lists for both events, if it somehow unfolds that we still have openings as we get toward the official close of registration in June, we will evaluate whether to invite Masters to additionally register for the other still-open event.

May I bring someone (or attend myself) as a non-participant?
Due to our limited capacity for participants this year, there is no option to register non-participants this year.
May I arrive early or stay late?
Menucha does not have capacity for personal retreats, so there is no way to arrive early or stay late at Menucha. Of course, you are absolutely welcome to arrive in Portland before the start of your event, or stay after your event, and take in the sights and activities!
What is the NWRG's CoViD policy for this in-person Gathering?
Menucha has a current COVID policy in place, and as guests on their land we will abide by their policies. You can view Menucha's policy here: https://menucha.org/pandemic-welcome-and-hosting. If Menucha's policy changes, we will review whether to also change our policy for this year's Gathering.
Particularly note that, as Menucha policies currently stand, if you get COVID (or are in close contact with someone with COVID) in the 14 days before the Gathering, you will need to cancel your registration to the Gathering - and unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a refund for such a late cancellation. Additionally, if you get COVID in the 14 days after the Gathering, you will need to contact the Registrar so that we can share contact tracing info with Menucha.
We are also requiring full basic vaccination for all participants at the NW Reiki Gathering this year - that is, to have received the first J&J shot, or the first two Moderna or Pfizer shots. We additionally recommend that all participants receive whatever CoViD booster shot is available to them.

Refund Policy
Registration is non-transferable, but fully refundable until June 19. For cancellations after June 19, we cannot guarantee any refund.
Transportation
Our annual event is located this year at Menucha Retreat and Conference Center, just east of Portland, Oregon in the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge, and a 30 minute drive from Oregon’s largest airport.
