Ah,
the joy of returning to the annual Northwest Reiki Gathering at Breitenbush Hot
Springs or the delight of coming for the first time. Let us immerse ourselves
in the stunningly wondrous energy of this beautiful and sacred piece of land so
lovingly cared for. We will be spending a weekend of relaxation, with the gift
of our presence and the gift of Reiki. Paul Mitchell will focus our group time
on the Four Aspects of Usui Shiki Ryoho: healing practice, personal
development, spiritual discipline and mystic order. How are these aspects
working in our lives? Ellen Montague will support our journey through music and
song. Let’s explore and become a bit more conscious together and see what our shared
experience brings us.
Accommodations
are simple, rustic cabins with three vegetarian meals each day. The gathering
begins Friday evening with dinner at 6:00 pm and ends with lunch on Sunday. There
are
natural mineral springs to soak in, a steam sauna and many beautiful hiking
trails.
Cost
for early registration by April 7 is $325 with payment by Visa or MasterCard,
and discounted to $315 with cash/check payment. If you pay April 8 or later,
the cost is $367 with a cash discount at $356. This information is summarized
in the chart at the bottom of the page.
Please
register early to assure your place at this year’s gathering. Early
registration also helps us in our closed-camp negotiations with Breitenbush. If
you have medical constraints, please submit your registration no later than
July 1, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. There are a few
tents and campsites available at larger discounts. Contact the registrar for
availability. There is a possibility that some portions of the weekend will be
videotaped, so you may be asked to sign a release form.
If
you are interested in applying for a scholarship this year, please fill out the
registration form, marking the appropriate line, and mail (with no payment at
this time) to the address below. Completed scholarship applications are due by
April 15, 2008.
If you're
an LMT (licensed to practice in Oregon or Washington) you can receive 12 CE's (continuing education contact hours) for your
attendance at the gathering. Please let the registrar know when you are registering.
